Architecture in Israel: Conversations with Amos Gitai

Sixteen 23-minute films in which Amos Gitai converses with architects, sociologists, archeologists, researchers, writers, and theologians. Incorporating references to historical and current trends in Israel and Palestine (Ottoman period; British Mandate; Bedouin habitats; eclectic, brutalist, and modern architecture, etc.), these conversations cover architectural and urban development topics, the breadth of which gives the exchanges a universal dimension. Each episode uses archive material (pictures, plans, architectural sketches, etc.) to illustrate the topics under discussion.
