1997: as the trial of Klaus Barbie gets underway, Victor, who lives in Paris, learns that his mother Rivka has yet to break the silence about her suffering and the persecution her family endured in occupied France during WWII. He attempts to piece her memories together.

Based on the autobiographical novel One Day You’ll Understand by Jérôme Clément.
